Particularly sensitive production areas of our company are subject to even stricter requirements and are therefore certified. This includes, in addition to the most important certificates and standards, additional preventive measures concerning hygiene, allergen management, cleaning regulations, food in the workplace, foreign body control and access regulations for persons outside the company.
Bächi-Cord complies with globally recognized standards in the manufacturing of food packaging. Compliance with the standards is checked in regular audits and, if successful, confirmed by appropriate certification. In conjunction with these certifications, we meet other relevant standards. This assures our partners that their products meet the highest requirements of their customers and markets.
Our operations are certified to ISO 22000, the global standard for food safety management systems. This standard combines the requirements of a general quality management system (ISO 9001) with a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) concept. The aim is the systematic avoidance of hazards in connection with foodstuffs that could otherwise lead to consumers’ health risk or illness.
Particularly sensitive production areas of our company are subject to even stricter requirements and are therefore certified according to FSSC 22000. With this certification, Bächi-Cord AG meets the requirements for product category I, the production of food packaging and packaging material.
